The derived reading is archived locally and saved to the cloud — so your history follows you. The photo never leaves your device.

Your face stays on your device

Goldeneye reads your face locally in your browser. What gets saved to the server is only the derived reading — scores, verdict, geometry measurements and the written reading. The camera frame and any photo are processed on-device and are never uploaded. The server even strips image data defensively, so a face can't be stored there by accident.
